CRIM Engages in Civic Education on Lovumataboe village, North Ambae!

The Civil Registration and Identity Management (CRIM) team recently participated in a civic education outreach program on Lovumataboe village (Ambae Island), led by Shane Tari, Penama’s Assistant Provincial Registrar. As part of his engagement, Shane introduced the services offered by CRIM, with a specific focus on the importance of registering vital events—such as births, marriages, and deaths—and providing a legal identity for every citizen of Vanuatu.

Through this outreach, Shane highlighted how these services are interconnected within CRIM’s system to ensure that every citizen receives a unique legal identity. This identity is essential not only for individuals’ rights but also as a foundation for accessing important services and opportunities.

CRIM remains committed to raising awareness and enhancing access to legal identity services across our islands, ensuring that no one is left behind.
